Fuel distribution and energy-sector business
XENEX has direct historical experience in the Australian fuel distribution sector.
In 1989, XENEX Corporation Pty Limited became a one-third shareholder in Puma Oil, a newly established diesel trading business in Australia.
Puma Oil operated bulk fuel storage facilities in the Sydney region and served commercial customers including transport companies and agricultural businesses.
The business operated for approximately five years and was subsequently closed following changes in State Government taxation regulations that significantly affected operating margins.
This experience provided XENEX with practical exposure to the fuel supply chain, bulk storage, transportation logistics and commercial fuel distribution market.
